  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

this is the camera that no one wants. me and my skater buddies refuse to shoot our dumb skating tricks in anything but 120 fps 28k. thanks but no thanks RED!111!1!
 
Jarred - any chance of being able to hijack the redmote to act as a CCU/RCU controller so that I can get a bunch of 2/3 scarlets, outfit them with broadcast lenses, do a 1080 imag feed live for a concert and then master everything in post at 3K? All It would really need is iris and some basic painting on the outputs.... and an internal ND.

I have a still photography question. What is 4k equal to in terms of megabytes to a digital slr?
 
Amazing work. You really have listened to just about anyone who wants to capture digital motion picture for any application. The only question I have is should I cancel my Nikon d3x present to self and just wait a little longer and have a camera that really can do everything?

Around 9 - 12 MP depending on who you talk to and their opinion on debayering. Either way, it's better than my aging canon 10D.

thanks a lot for giving us red owners a treat for falling into the "scam" earlier...
I feel my wishlist for having some kind of goodie or consideration for being a red one owner is nearly fulfilled.
Been shooting a lot lately, really tired.. excited about the results...
looking forward to the upgrade.. thanks again.
