Ok...I might be smoking crack but...where the hell is the DEB toggle in Premiere Pro?

Thanks guys!

From my understanding, only Red-Cine X and Resolve have DEB so far. RED has provided the SDK, but Adobe hasn't implemented it in Adobe CC yet.

Damn. Michael Tiemann in the post below said as of Premiere Pro (2014.1) DEB was included. Can anyone confirm that DEB has not been implemented in PPro yet?

Anyone?

I was wrong. I should have written Davinci Resolve 11, not Adobe Premiere CC 2014. Fixed in the original post.

Thanks Michael, hopefully Adobe gets on this soon...DEB makes a big difference in low light situations.

I'll contact them. It's in the SDK. Not entirely sure why it hasn't been implemented in the plugin yet. It's been in Resolve for some time now.

I already contacted Adobe and added a "feature request" a few weeks ago. Unfortunately the CC rent model obviously does not speed things up in real world, added some quirks though.

Cheers, Ulf

Any news on this yet? No DEB in PP is killing on jobs we don't have the time / budget to do a whole separate Resolve grade.

Come on Adobe...it's just a little button right? ;)

What the name also doesn't imply is it destroys any detail in the red channel...

as one of my clients said the other day "premiere is the only windows NLE he knows that will touch red footage" ..i think he's right (i couldn't think of another anyway), so DEB is essential. i wish red would allow user adjustable noise to be added to the SDI output too, so i can make my nonitors match the r3d shadows more closely
