I installed mine in the rear position as to mount the drive under the unit with the battery plate on top. Lowered my weight, center of gravity and profile. Note- Having & retaining the top handle functionality is very important to me because we are always transporting (locations) and handling the cam... this install does not encumber that functionality making it a real winner for me.

Funny and simple but very functional!!!

I wanna see what else DJ comes up with!!!

The case shown in the "carry-on" section is the Pelican 1510. Aside from shipping needs, I think it is the ONLY case anyone should buy! (I use it for my fully rigged Red, my lenses, my accessories, my mattebox, etc.)

As far as the credit is concerned, that is yet to be determined. It all depends on when I can get my hands on the new cameras. Once I have the adapter available, you will be contacted and given the choice between the adapter or credit.

I wanna see what else DJ comes up with!!!

I've got some really exciting stuff in the works. Stay tuned...

We at VFX use the RED 50% of the time for Wildlife and we have experimented with different setups to be up and ready in the field in the fastest possible time. If you notice everything on the camera is mounted and ready. Monitor, drive, Lens 50-500mm, Follow focus and all off it goes as is into a very solid bag from
Pro Bag, which opens in a snap by pulling two zips, and is easy carry.
