I suggest trade in latest will stop when Epic is aviable.
When it comes to the delivery for EPIC i think he gives people resonable time to make a decission.
BTW I think we should not overexpecting the number of people who will trade in the EPIC. For a lot of people RED one will be good enough for their dayli buisness.
In additional EPIC will need a lot of more investment like simple buy the boddy if you want to use its full value. So Red drive cards could not be used in full because of the high datarate of epic.

I don't think the Epic market will be nearly as big as the Red One market. You have to remember, alot of Red owners came from the HVX200 and made a really big financial commitment to buy the Red One
And the economy is just getting worse. I think we'll see more renters. EPIC may come in at a lower price point and RED ONE removed from the product line. That would get everyone upgrading and along for the ride... which I sorta think was the original vision for the company and the flagship product.
Scarlet may end up looking a lot more like RED (in functionality) when it finally hits. It's still quite aways off for these products. 7 months... that's like 12 dog years.
Seems to me that in the spirit of Red's motto of making obsolecense obsolete, which they have proven in spades, there would be no expiration of the upgrade offer. If you were unable to upgrade, your Red would become obsolete, wouldn't it?
