Hi there,

does Resolve work with HDRx Footage? We shoot REDCODE 5:1 4K HDRx and Resolve debayers only the A-Frame, not the 2 Stops underexposed B-Frame.
So the graded image look overexposed in the highlights.

Is it not possible in Resolve 11.3 or is there a hidden option in the debayer settings I can't find?

Thx Ronny

It's definitely there. If you go into the camera raw settings menu in resolve, there is a blend mode setting. Turn that to simple or motion blend and it will use the x-track. If you are doing simple dailies, you can go that way. For more elaborate functioning using hdrx I suggest adding a second source into the node tree and using a layer mixer node to blend the two tracks together better. You can finesse it more to only get the highlights instead of blending both highlights and shadows from both images.
