  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Dakota Red Users?

I'm your lonely neighbor just to the East, however, I'm considering shooting a short in the badlands (but not on my Red; it's super16 :sad:).
 
I've got a couple of documentaries in the early planning stages and expect to use it for advertising work, but I'm really looking forward to putting together a demo reel, including West River footage. I consider the Black Hills area my home away from home and enjoy spending any time I can out there. Hopefully, Red will have time lapse mode enabled by October/November, when I should receive #348, if they stick to the current delivery schedule.
 
The Black Hills are beautiful. I'll definately look forward to seeing your demo reel. If I do end up shooting in the Badlands, I will be scouting for a desert-like area that doesn't have that Badlands "signature" look. As beautiful as it is, it would be a dead give-away that the setting isn't the Mexican border. (I know, I know. It won't look like the Mexican border anyway, but it's the best I can do with the budget!:))
 
I'm up in Grand Forks, glad to see there are some reds within a State :)
