Hey guys... I have some good news and some bad news.
The good news, is that our manufacturing is turning into a well-oiled machine, we are getting cameras out in larger batches then every before, and we are shipping hundreds of cameras every batch instead of dozens like we were not so long ago.
The bad news is.. more cameras means more customer service calls and emails. We are growing our Bombsquad team as fast as possible to keep up, but over the next month or so, the response time is not going to be as fast as we would like to be. We are also starting the free audio board upgrade plan at this time, so as you can imagine the sheer volume of correspondence between RED and it's customers is going to be quite the undertaking.
For a moment here internally the idea of holding back delivering cameras to ease the call load was actually being kicked around, but when I put my customer hat on, as I customer, I would rather have my camera in my hands and be playing with it and wait a few extra beats if I need to contact customer service rather than not having my camera at all... if I am wrong in that decision, let me know.
So I gracefully ask everyone to bear with us
Thanks everyone...
