Thinking of how easily a RED LCD could be converted to take HDSDI etc instead of using the LEMO. Does anyone know of this being done or done it themselves?

Not easy at all, which is to say impossible. How would the LCD decode the HDSDI stream? Lemo passes video to the monitor, not SDI.

If the RED LCD could do this, it would be the smallest, lightest and cheapest in the market...

Yeah fair enough, and correct. I meant for the thread to basically be that if it is possible to convert the RED LCD into a monitor friendly to other uses besides on a RED, and how or if this has been done. My bad, should have worded it differently.
