No. That is the exhaust. And the cooling chamber is completely isolated from the electronics. Plus, the fan is removable and cleanable/replaceable by the operator. Easy. Four screws from the front. Think sealed tunnel.

Had I bought the 7D today, the Scarlet would have been released on Monday.
