I'm remembering playing with my 60mm with an added Mutar 2X
I did a quick shoot with some friends the other day hitting a rope swing in Whistler. Shot mostly with contax 35-70, 25 2.8 and some canon 70-300L and rokinon 8mm fish.

I have to say the 28-85 is my standard lens now and I do about 90% of my work with it, and then tend to end up with either the 85 1.4 or the 25mm for flavour.
I really need to check out the longer zoom.
oh wow thats great to hear! Who would I be able to sent it to do that? I know nobody local who could do thisof course! it should be no more than 30eur/40bucks and a normally skilled repairman should do it fine! def do it if the ring is stiff or loose...
Guys I'm interested in the type of setups you use when shooting and whether you stay light or fully 'rig up' and what NDs etc you use.
I ask because recently I've been using a lightweight 4x4" mattebox and it adds so much time to every lens change and setup that more and more I find myself ditching it by the end of the day and just using a Lee filter adapter hold and Lee stills grads and the like, or just using Tiffen screw-in IRND filters.
The 80-200 is simply awesome. It's because of you I just ordered the 28-85, maybe I can peer pressure you into the 80-200!
The 80-200 is an AWESOME lens, I love it. For the price ($250??!!!!), it's almost impossible to beat.
The 100-300 is much more expensive ($900) and slower, but the extra range is exciting. It's also insanely sharp as it's made with LOW DISPERSION glass (ie APO glass). A brilliant performer.
You can't go wrong with either.

Apart the vanished ninja stars what are the other improvement?Hey guys, there's a MINT 28 2.8 MM at B&H right now. These are very hard to find. Improved over the 28 AE, and rivals the famous "Hollywood" for performance.
