Tim,

The amazing Curt at viewfactor gave me a plate screws into the back Epic. I then drilled and threads holes in that plate for with the proper spacing for red's v-mount plate.

The plate is meant to accept with anton battery mounts, but the mounts for the epic are not available yet either so i just improvised.

If you like i can post detailed pictures if you have more questions.

Looks great !

How are you mounting the battery and bracket like that ?

Cheers, Tim.

Very interested in this setup, please post how you did it, I would love to do this to mine that I just got today!

Thanks!

A lot of new RED accessories will be announced soon... including what you are asking about.

I'll have renderings possibly this weekend and a prototype immediately afterwards. The design has been done for a while... and it's freakin' cool.

The plate Jacob has is a quickie proof of concept piece for fun. :)

Maybe this has been covered, if so, I hide in shame. When do you think an Epic Nikon mount will be available ?
