  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Colorado REDs, sound off!

Hey everyone! My Movi is expected to arrive by probably Tuesday. I was thinking about doing a little open house for those that want to come by and check it out. Anyone interested?
 
would love to check it out, not sure when I can get there tho - congrats! any plans to come up to the mountains in the next month or two? sent you a PM
 
So how are all my fellow Colorado RED peeps getting along with the flooding? Lots of tragedy here over this past week. We have had some friends and family displaced, but they are well. Trying to keep hope for those less fortunate.

digging drainage ditches, cleaning out the ones that have filled in.... changing and re-routing... in the downpour. The creeks will rise! Suppose to go on all day - been an interesting week. Evergreen has missed the major damage (so far) , The areas north... can only imagine....

In the middle of the city of Denver, haven't felt too many of the effects but feeling for friends in Longmont! And Lyons... man oh man
 
My mom is in Longmont, she just sent me a photo of her paddling a kayak thru her neighborhood trying to get to Safeway. She borrowed it from a neighbor and is making grocery runs - she's 71!

My sister had to evacuate her neighborhood near Centerra, but luckily her house is dry as a bone. Her whole neighborhood flooded, but the house is on a bit of a hill, so nothing got closer than the sidewalk to her house.

super cool! I just had a schedule change for next week and might be able to come to Denver - maybe we should organize a little get-together to check it out?
 
Does anyone in town have a wireless follow focus unit I could rent for Thurs-Sat this week? My redrock randomly shit the bed this morning, and I'm totally screwed unless I can come up with one by morning. We're shooting all Movi stuff so I can't do a normal follow focus, has to be wireless. Let me know if anyone can hook me up!
 
Well, I bought one from ViewFactor like 4 years ago and have yet to receive it... Sorry, I know that doesn't help.

I do know someone, I'll see if I can steer him your direction.
