Hi everyone,
I can't seem to get the exact answer from doing a search here, so I thought I would throw this out and see if anyone has a workaround.
We are trying to batch out a bunch of shots through color. Let me describe our current workflow:
1. Open the shot list in clipfinder
2. Drag the shots we want from clipfinder into final cut
(the reason we are going through final cut is due to the fact that we may have 2 - 3 subtakes during a take. I need a way to chop it up so I can create ins and outs.
3. We lay the shots out on the time line in final cut
4. We send to color
Everything for the most part seems to look okay, however on a closer inspection, some of the shots do not come in. They are black... And on some of the longer takes some seem to skip and go into a funky looping effect.
I am not sure yet what the ratio of shots that are failing are yet. I will have the info soon. I am curious if someone has seen this and has a workaround for it.
The shots that do work look amazing. We are exporting them out as 1080P HQ Prores shots.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
