HVX? Viper? Wheres all this information coming from it says Genesis on IMDB so I just assumed that the whole thing was shot on the Genisis.

No, the only way to get that kind of handheld is from HVX. There's no way they shot 720 for this film. They must have done some serious upresing in post. Why wouldn't they shoot 1080?

I think they also shot on the f23 for some of it. there's an article about it in Ac in a few months.

1080 isn't that great on the HVX...on wider shots the jaggies are ridiculous. plenty of tests have been done on this.

Hah. They're probably keeping the cameras it was shot on deliberately secret just like everything else about the movie. Secrecy for secrecy's sake is always good marketing.

It's shot on the Genesis I sat through the credits and saw the Panavision logo at the end of the credits and IMDB backs me up on this claim.

But I thought only VFX plates were shot with the Genesis. Wait, I DID read an article that stated the movie was shot with a $1,500 camera. Let me see if i can find it.
