I know the Neat Video group buy just finished up but thought I'd mention this. Dark Energy seems to rate above Neat Video, although it sucks it's only for After Effects and no OFX version. Last I contemplated it, it was $500 or so. Seems they've dropped it down to $200 now but if you check the comments on this NoFilmSchool link, you can see the founder of Cinnafilm is offering it for $99 till the end of October.

Is there a mac version? I did just buy 10 licenses of Neat video for various platforms, though so I think I'm good.

No. According to their website:

"This is a Windows-based software platform, so in addition to PCs, any Apple product that can dual boot and support an NVIDIA GPU and Windows 7 64-bit will be able to run the software."

They had a Kickstarter last year to try to port it over to OFX but it didn't end up getting funded.

black magic resolve - noise reduction. has upgraded in their new version and it actually detects artifacts with rapid small motions to apply NR. (the amount of detection can be adjusted)
Works so well that I have stopped using DEB in RCX.
Anyway just my 2 cents.

I just ordered Dark Energy using the No Film School $99.00 deal. It will be interesting to see how it compares to Neat Video. I understand that it also has a re-grain function. Here is a quote from Lance Maurer, the CEO, that I found over on Toolfarm.com:

"We originally sold this technology just a few years back with ARRI for over $100,000.00. It is the highest grade noise denoise and grain modeling science on market, and it took us a long time to port it over to AE/Windows."
