  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Ciao KETCH!

7 to 10 kilo (16 pound) weight limit of each piece of carry on...FAA RULES.
Sometimes you can sneak through, but the chance of getting caught then becomes a nightmare in getting it into the hold and bashed around by baggage handlers.
I've travelled the world many many times trying to pull off this stunt. Win some ya loose some. But rest assured, you do get caught.
Batteries become the biggest problem as well know.
Domestic flights you seem to get away with it a little more, International flights.. grrrr.
We have now resorted to a few large pelicans, pre booked the extra weight, paid the extra 500-1000 bucks, throw them in the hold, Organized international CARN'es, so not to get your gear confiscated at the other end by Customs and held until you can produce ownership papers and (export) tax records.
Then life goes on :)

I hope you get through mate. I'm sure you will ZIP through with your charming italian manor. :)
Safe travels and best of luck in the home country :)

Your a good man.

Ketch, I hope I'll meet you someday. :-) You're a true inspiration...

God bless you.

When we were at Element Technica (Ketch's last stop in America before the Airport), we weighed one of his "carry-on bags". It happened to be 56 POUNDS!

My last contact with Ketch was a text message in which he said:
I'm in with the 2 carry ons but they did made a big fuss!!

...
Didn't you know... Ketch can do anything.
