CHIC "I'll be there" by Nile Rodgers featuring Karlie Kloss shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin on RED DRAGON

As unfortunately quite often in video clips, commercials, etc... the music is better than the pictures, where starving girls are just illustrating the poor consideration of men for women.

Kristin

Sorry Kristin but your feminism here is just obsolete. And even from Biblical period of Adam and Eve or through the milleniums women wanted to be desired always ... And that is how it should be...just very natural and primal ... That's nothing to do with the "poor" man...it's a simply a state of women's mind...Inez knows that pretty good as a woman and also as one of the best fashion photographers today...!!!

Well, your reaction is just an immature and macho point of view. "very natural and primal, what it should be". Are your serious ? Do you really think that a skinny woman laying down the floor, caressing herself with a LP cover, is just natural and primal ? I feel sorry for your girlfriend, if you ever succeed in keeping one ;-) Do you really think women have always wanted to be desired this way ? Well, poor boy ;-) How old are you ? And no, she's not one of the best fashion photographers today, just a wanna be ;-) That all music video just stinks.

Kristin, it seems to me that you wonna fight here...but that's not so easy and almost impossible just because I am unbeatable...and to tell you that in any sort of discussion on this forum I was beating all of them... That started with the boss till the end to an ordinary user. So what does it mean? It means that I was almost 100% always right. If you are long enough on this forum you should know that well...I was banned more than several times but never was beaten in terms of any sort of idegologically speaking here...and of course that I am a kind of super macho and btw had enough women that I even don't know the exact number...anyway must say that I am a sort of expert to this kind of gender related topic...btw. maybe you should change your mind and reconsider again your questions after watching a proper movies as a sort of additional education on this ethernal topic starting with some of the following movies for example: Swept Away by Lina Wertmüller, Swept Away by Guy Ritchie and Madonna, City of Women or La Citta Delle Donne by Federico Fellini, That Obscure Object of Desire by Luis Bunuel, Le Mepris by J.L.Godard, Last Tango in Paris by Bernardo Bertolucci, etc...Just to name a few...At the end one more thing: Karlie Kloss and Inez Van Lamsweerde are both exceptional women, extraordinary artists, femminine creators and of course not stupid to be engaged in any sort of bad commercial especially with this very hot gender related cultural topic and politics today. Also they are one of the best professionals in their fields, Karlie as a model and Inez as a fashion photographer...and simply you can't deny these facts and their record ...Maybe you do not like it but that has nothing do with them or even the video...

Now that's the old Sanjin I remember!

I guess generalisations about how women "are" or "should be", is practically closing in on politics, which is banned here.

It is a little bit of a difference of presenting an expression (whether it's liked or not) and making that into general "rights and wrongs".

And everyone are entitled to an opinion.

I happen to respect Kristin Stewarts opinions when she shows them.

Peace, San.
