Hey all,

I'm looking to mount my Scarlet-W on an actor's chest but I'm sort of at a loss as to how to accomplish this.

It's for a series of shots where the actors hands need to be visible on camera, so basically accomplishing something like a GoPro chest harness. I'd love to hear what solutions people have come up with.

You mean like a SnorriCam (pointed back at the actor/wearer) or just a chest mount?

It’s usually cheapest to try rigging up something yourself, though it probably won’t be the most comfortable/repeatable.

Snore camera mount for the win.

like End of Watch? ...the camera rig was done by Radiant rental house in Los Angeles, but modern camera, you could possibly do the same.

same cameras were used on Slum Dog Millionaire strapped to a boom pole to get moving crowd shots

this was big as the camera needed to be very mobile and POV, if you're just doing a POV shot you might lock the camera down and have the actors hands in the shot

now-a-days you would probably shoot it all on a BMPCC4K strapped to the actor's chest
