Check out this review we did on the Came-TV 33ft. camera crane. Barely holds a slimmed down Epic. For a heavier set up I would go with the 10kg pan/tilt head.

Great review. Looking forward to your next one. How much did you pay for this?

Great Tutorial! Can I ask how you power the Epic and how the head is powered?

Cool, so V-lock battery on the camera. Seems like the weight would be over with it, guess that's why you said you were pushing it but it clearly works.

One more question, what is the monitor connection? It appears to be composite from the photo. Do you convert?

Yeah, our payload with everything is 11lbs. and that's pushing the 5kg to their limit. It works though!

We actually haven't been using the 7 inch monitor that they include because it didn't have HDMI connections.

Thanks for all the answers, much appreciated!

Last question - so how do you monitor? :glare:

Yea those shots just sold the gear. Haha.

In how many cases does all the gear fit into? And how long is the case?

Nice review, I've been tempted to try out some of his other products, but I'm also always a skeptic. The smaller jibs look nicely built. I may end up giving one a shot sometime later on. For the money, you can't beat those shots, they were nice.

That was an incredible review Luke... Hahah. They need to thank you because I am sure we are all wanting to buy this piece now that you took the risk to buy it and review it.

Thanks! Gear breaks down into two cases. One for the pan/tilt and one for the crane pieces. Pan/tilt case is normal briefcase size (maybe a little bigger) and the crane case is probably 5-6 feet in length, a foot high and a foot deep. Surprisingly small actually. Could fit everything into the truck of a mid size car.

I just checked and they have free shipping... That's quite a bargain.

Thats great Luke. Can you setup up in a smaller length as well for indoor shots or for smaller locations perhaps? I was ready to buy the smaller one but when I saw your review I'm reviewing the options again now.

Thanks for your time. Great Help.

Thanks. Yeah, the crane has 9 total sections. 2 behind the tripod and 7 in front. You can go down to 3 in front and 1 in back or 5 in front and 2 in back.
