Nicely done sir.
Love the pushing shot over the fence to the home. Time for an upgrade me thinks.

Check out this review we did on the Came-TV 33ft. camera crane. Barely holds a slimmed down Epic. For a heavier set up I would go with the 10kg pan/tilt head.
This seems like an awesome system. I am interested in how the Proaim 22ft jib would stack up against this one? Besides the fact that it is significantly shorter, it can hold a little more weight and is decently priced. http://www.proaimshop.com/pas/PROAI...l-Tripod-Stand-LW-150-and-D-33-Pro-Dolly.html
Also, is there a reason that the 33ft CAME that holds 10 Kg is $1600 more - other than the fact that it has a higher weight capacity?
dude for 2 grand where can I get that!!!!! Thanks so much for the post man please give me the website that is what I need so bad and the price is just Epic!!!
Thanks Luke.
For the price this is amazing.
I honestly don't know. Maybe the entire crane is a little different?
Hmm... I just contacted them to see, so hopefully I'll know soon. I just don't want to risk my R1 on the 5 Kilo jib, but the price of the other is almost doubled. Anyways, awesome review - the cinematography was great! Keep it up, I want to see more.
Luke- what did you think about the pan/tilt head and it's controls?
Luke, when do you think you will be releasing some more in depth videos featuring the crane?
Look, I don't want to rain on anybody's parade, but as a long time user of Jimmyjib's triangle (which in this length costs around $14,500) I would really be concerned with what looks to me like a pretty light-weight tripod structure for all that weight and torque. These things can be pretty dangerous if not carefully sited and used. There are a whole range of safety issues with these things that really require care and thought. To extend this long and counter weight the arm means you are dealing with significant and dangerous forces. To put the crew at risk with a rig this cheap made in China seems like a questionable idea. If you compare the size of the arm triangle and the gauge of aluminum, particularly on the tripod legs, between the Chinese jib and the American jib, I think you will find the difference sobering. There is a reason that this Chinese jib is cheap. I am not talking about "buy American" orthodoxy or anything like that. I'm talking about crew safety. If you have that many pounds of weight and that long an extended arm and the tripod collapses, imagine what will happen to the operator, any actors under it, the AC and anybody else with the back luck of standing near it. If it collapses near power lines of any kind, its worse. I would suggest that anybody considering one of these things go and talk to an experienced grip about it and get his opinion.
I just need to say, what an awesome review. You seem to get some really nice shots with this cheap beast haha.
I hope it will hold. Would hate to see any camera hit the ground.
The fact that you get a remote head is actually really crazy. If I'd had the money I'd really go for it.
Any problems getting it through customs?
