Good question John.

Yes: we are looking for a shooter and real contributor in one locality whose story is set elsewhere.
Thus givingus the next place in the storyline where we will have another shooter filming the next story.
Leading to the next location - and so on and so forth.

But the other thing we need now is some examples of these small stories.
Where do people get their inspriration from ?

The scent of a cab in Cape town.
The taste of a piece of yellow tail in this sushi place in Tokyo .
The view from a bench overlooking the Grand Canyon.
A tent in Dahab (Egypt) where someone you know read his/her favourite children's book ("Holes" by Louis Sachar).

I'd be on board for this - I'm based in Auckland, New Zealand, but also spending a month in Dublin, Ireland in a few weeks time - where my girlfriend's from, so it holds a fair bit of meaning for me.
Inspiration there typically comes from a pint of Guinness in a warm pub on a cold day. :thumbsup:
 
The list of locations is now really spectacular. Must say it's far above all my expectations.

Some info regarding the production:

I will make sure we finnish in UHD. Not that it's requested by the client but I think, for all of us, it's worth the effort to make a UHD master. The car is pretty much non existing at this date so there will be a lot of VFX work as the car will be added in post for large parts of the film. The post we will do here at Syndicate in Stockholm. So we will set up an FTP server so all shooters can upload their material, preferably with some RCXP grade added. The film will of course later be graded as a whole, but we for sure want to see what grade was intended by each DP. A xml or EDL with an "DP rough edit" from each contributor would also be nice, so we get your idea for how you you intended it to be cut. But of course, again it will all be reedited into the final film.

The above and more info will be carried out to you from the roosenstein email adress as soon as the job is awarded. So far, I can only say that things looks really good, but of course as always with commercials there is a lot of things to sort out with the clients and all those things before we have anything set in stone.
