I upgraded my first camera to Release Build 16 just fine, this morning.

I needed the card to shoot this morning so I cleared it.

I tried to download the upgrade again, to upgrade the second camera, and now it won't decompress -- I keep getting an error command. It looks like it is trying to Unzip the file, then it does not complete the action, and I get an error command.

Does RED have limits on how many times you can download this or something? If this is the case, can I get this unlocked so that I can upgrade my second camera?

Any help?

Nope, there are no limits to how many times you can download Camera Firmware upgrades and such. Do be aware that the Download Links do expire after a period of time - approximately 30 minutes. Just go back to www.red.com/support each time you need to re-download.

Try downloading it again or with a different web browser.

Thanks, Curran. Switching browsers worked.

Duh, a bad case of overlooking an obvious workaround. The good folks at reduser to the rescue....

I did go back and try to download with the same browser, repeatedly. Weird. Oh well. I guess red.com just wanted to visit with Firefox...

For what it's worth, I download the file to one of my hard drives and then copy the files needed from there, that way, I only download once for each version, and just make a new copy for each camera.
