Hi ,

I have a problem with my Epic dragon because when I swtich off my camera , I can't switch on again with the red button. LED flash RED and ORANGE

I have to take off the v-lock battery and when I put the battery again , Epic starts alone.

I have made the last upgrade V6.0.31 . Do you think I can try to install a old version V5.2.28 ?

Thank you .

Philippe.

Strange behavior, factory-reset didn't help? How does the camera work with another power-source?

Downgrading is the next thing to try, but don't use 5.2.28, because:
* You cannot downgrade an EPIC or SCARLET DRAGON to earlier than v5.2.42, v5.3.42 or v6.0.20 after upgrading to v6.0.31.
* You cannot downgrade an EPIC MYSTERIUM-X to earlier than v5.2.42, v5.3.42 or v6.0.20 after upgrading to v6.0.31.

Thank for your help.

If I use v-lock or power in , the problem stay the same .

I think the problem started when I have interchanged old V-lock block wooden camera and new v-lock block wooden camera.

So I took off v-lock block and upgraded again my Epic but problem stay again.

Factory reset ? do you think I have to try ?

I have send my log file camera to Red Europe.

So I can shoot , I can shut down but I can't switch on again.

Thank you.

Thank you Gunleik .

Factory reset is done but always the same.

A few questions.

- What V-Lock battery are you using?
- What V-Lock Battery Plate are you using?
- Does the camera boot with the AC Adapter?

Hello Phil ,

- First : RED battery

- Second : The new battery plate is a switronix from Wooden camera

-third : Yes , when I put AC adaptater , I don't need to push on the red button. The camera boot automaticly. Same with a v-lock battery.

Thank you .
