Hey everyone, I'm about to shoot my first RED Epic music video on Saturday night. Very excited to work with some higher resolution varispeed options, especially coming from working with primarily with the Scarlet. We rented an Epic that is currently on firmware 5.1.29.
Since we are going to be shooting outside at night (and the weather reports say it's going to be chilly) I decided to preemptively do my black shade tonight for the varispeed settings. Unfortunately, I can't seem to enable 120fps on any of the 5K settings available to me (5K, 5K 2:1, 5K WS). I'm confused, I thought the Epic was able to shoot 120fps at max on 5K, but currently the camera won't allow me to go any faster than 60fps, and only at 5K WS.
Anyone have any ideas as to what's wrong? Am I missing some hidden menu item I need to enable/disengage to activate 120fps at 5K?
