Hi,
I have clients who have shot R3Ds at 23.98fps by accident, and were supposed to shoot 25fps.
Is there a way to change the project frame rate metadata on source R3D file?
Or is the only option to cut the footage at 23.98 and retime the edit after it is conformed back to the R3D Files.
As we have to create commercials that are exactly 30secs long, currently we have to edit overlength - this work around is a little frustrating. Anyone have any other ideas?
Workflow is currently Shot on RED @ 23.976 project frame rate -> Davinci Resolve Transcode to MXF 23.976-> Edit in Avid 23.976-> Export EDL -> Grade in Resolve linking back to R3D Media -> Conform in Smoke and retime to 25fps.
