  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Joey wrote me this morning.. She saw your post on here and wanted me to tell you she did NOT get an email from you. I would suggest you
1: Resend it to her
2: Feel free to PM or email me your email address and I will send it to her so she can send you and email.

I know some may question "Why don't they get on REDuser themselves?" But I have been seeing an increasing trend of companies pulling back from forum. I'm not going to debate this, I'm just going to live with it for now.

Thanks for the prompt reply, Jay. My order consists of one 1.2K HMI w/ Osram bulb and one 575w HMI w/ Osram bulb. I would also like to order a 10 meter extended cable for each.
 
Got my order sorted out too. Was told it will be sent out within the next couple of days and should take about ten days to get here.
 
Just ordered one 1.2K HMI with OSRAM bulb !
Might order another one in the future after I do some tests.
 
Michael I am sure we're doing just fine. As far as PARs go.. CAME does not have them. I remember someone telling me about some, but expect to pay 3x-4x more for those lights.

No I offered to do a full review and analysis of the noise coming from both lights as well as comparing noise levels of both bulbs, and also setting up some typical shooting scenarios so the sound person could check the noise levels, was also going to look at construction , build quality etc. Offered to do this in exchange for some lighting but they're pretty tight over there. Wanted me to do video for very little AND pay for the lights. I don't think so. kind of left a bad taste in my mouth especially since their sales would be better if a video like that was around.
