  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Came 150W LED Fresnel?

If the cri is that good it should be a real.deal

Do not buy the came-tv 1500w LED lights. This light has a LOT of magenta in it. It took 3/4 plus green gel and a 1/4 CTB to match the light to daylight. As the light heats up it the colour shifts even more into the magenta spectrum.

I bought one that is suppose to be here tomorrow or the next day (fedex keeps changing the delivery date). I only got the one for testing. I see what your talking about - how old is your light? They are claiming they re-did the LED technology in the last few months, thats why I ask.

Thanks for the heads up.

I can't help it but I think Christopher is a hoax.
First time poster and what is he doing?
Ranting on a product.
It smells strange.

Hey Terry - ever pick up those extra couple of lights? How have they been holding up a few months down the line?

I have the 150w Came-TV LED its actually more of an open face light - it is focusable and dimmable. I also have a pair of the 100w fresnel lights which are pretty kickass. When using all three together I get pretty close matching, but I feel like the 150w is just a tinge blue when compared to the 100w's. They also have a 200w fresnel light, it's $588. http://www.came-tv.com/remote-control-200w-led-fresnel-light-focusable-dimmerable-p-587.html

So far I haven't had any major issues with them, loaned them to some photographer friends and they ran all three 5-7 hours a day for two weeks on a some gallery work they were shooting and no over heating.

Hope that helps

Tom
