Zoweee.
Damn. Oakley's headquarters is a beautiful place.
If anything does happen, it'll be a reflection on the impermanence
of our existence.
Best wishes to everyone at Red for a safe passage.

Yup

Yup

I'm in downtown L.A. so I'm safe, but it looks like the sky here is heavily affected by the smoke because it was supposed to be 96 and sunny today and it's extremely cloudy, it looks like smoke clouds to me. I'm in Burbank currently (our office is here).

Hopefully they get these fires contained before the damage is too much worse...

This is the Oakley parking lot...

To all my friends at RED - be safe, and I'm thinking about you all!

My fiance and I have our home in Valencia. There are literally four fires around the house now. We're in New York right now (for work) and will be for awhile, but the thought of potentially losing everything we own is scary. Best wishes to everybody.

I wish you all the best. Beware of the flames. Don´t take any risk for material stuff. Better to burn some cameras then to get injured by the fire. Of course I would like to get my red in time, but health is even more important then every camera in the world...
GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU!

Jarred you're living large, man. I have to fill my bath tub with water to call it a pool.

You got a bathtub. Your living large!

Good luck to all you at RED. These fires are amazing. I am grateful I am heading out of here on Thursday. My car got coated with dust in just one day in Santa Monica.

Here in OC it has all but cleared up in the skies. I think a little bit of smoke is still drifting up from SD, but generally, things seem better where I'm at in south OC.

The fires are tragic here. Some RED employees have been forced to evacuate their homes, roads are closed, and the fire is on the doorstep of Oakley, which is half a mile from RED.

Fingers crossed...

Jim

I know all of us hope for the best, and whish a safe fight for all the Firefigthers dispite already few of them dead, fire is an animal that makes no differences in the lives it takes, we will continue to hope for the best.

My area stand surrounded by fires but for now I only see them behind the mountains.

In the note you write about some of RED employees been evaquated, well Jim, for what little I can help please let any one of them know that my house, it is open to them, just send me a message and I can arrange for eving them over for as long as they need to.

From my heart, I whish the very best to all.

Ciao,

According to NBC news, over 950,000 people have evacuated. That's more than Katrina.
