Based on my Dragon Button Presets & Looks
After finally realising how to generate button presets for my camera I thought I would post details just in case its helps anyone else.
Here are my camera presets and goto look I've been using for the last 6 Months.
I've also put on her my standard dragon look. Its mapped to one of the Softkeys if you choose to load it. Its my goto milky black look, not for everyone and not one to maintain maximum DR.
But its an in camera grade. I know if it looks good on the LCD it will look good on the Mac. Reference of grade: https://vimeo.com/111618211
Dragon Milk look file: (not in zip file) http://goo.gl/7moqXO

----------------
Instructions:
To load goto MENU>PRESETS on the RED.
Load the ‘looks’ first. There are 3 to copy over “DRAGON_BASE_320.RMD”, “REDLF_56_800.RMD” and “REDLF_56_800_CU.RMD”. Use the arrows to copy to camera. (You don’t have to load these, if you don’t then the 3 soft keys on the left of the screen won’t be assigned)
Basically my standard Dragon look at 320ISO 5600K and a couple of log curve looks (one with curves to mask noise ‘CU’) Yes I like milky blacks.
Then load the ‘presets’ .
Still in the MENU>PRESETS goto Camera Presets and look to the list on the right and scroll to find “RED_USER_PRESET_1.preset” import and apply.
----------------
Generated with DSMC TOOLKIT https://www.red.com/downloads?category=Other&release=final - open with my button preset for a starting point. http://goo.gl/4M3Ss0
Cheers, James
Addition. Of course you need two folders on your SSD. 'presets' and 'looks' these folders are on zip ready to copy for reference.
