  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Built in ND device for your camera: ND Slide

Very interested in Canon EOS dummy mount (ie non electronic). How much?

Also what glass is going in the slide? Ideally love it to be Firecrest NDs.

If you have a look at the new video, Douglas makes an excellent argument for a Kodak ND

I have one demo unit for sale. Not sure when I will have more. I have another unit but it's mine and I'll never sell it!!

It is in nice but used condition and shows use, as it is a prototype. Of course the filters are clean and clear.

You can see it in this video:

First $750 takes it. PM me or better yet, contact me at longvalleyequip@gmail.com

Thanks
Doug

Never made them in quantity. Was waiting for a group buy that never happened. I have one and use it and it works very well.

Oh man, only just saw this thread.

This in an EF mount (with aperture control) would be BALLER.

I really don't get all the "back focus" comments. This is a system to **quickly** add and remove ND. Perfect for doc work, run & gun, etc. If you're tape-focusing then you have the time to switch out NDs in the mattebox.

Or put an LCD inside and make it electronic like Sony did in FS5.

There is quite a few problems that comes with such solution. To me it´s strange that now when the Fan is on the back / top of the camera there is no real reason why not to have a mount with ND stages. People that shoot alexa mini tend to use that feature quite bit.
