  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Build 4 is almost here....

ha ha i am a bit of a girl like that.. This one matches my car. I deserve ridicule :)

I agree. I never felt confused by the menu system and have always thought it was very easy to use.

The only time I felt confused was with some fine tuning features like when setting very specific frame rates or shutter angles you need to hold the touch screen for the extra menu to appear. Some other "hold to appear" menus exist, these are the less intuitive one, but after a quick run through reduser and the manual, problems solved and everything became intuitive.

Shutter Mode

Shutter Mode

I'm really looking forward to this build...
Please make the shutter angle mode "Relative" by default.
This is a Digital Cinema Cqmera, not a GoPro or iPhone, and it's wrong to have the shutter angle change automatically to 360deg when changing from 24 to 48fps, for example.
... and please take Shutter Mode out of the Display menu.

+1 yes please

As far as power management, it would be great if you could turn your LCD off without shutting down (I know you can always unplug the LCD, but that is a hassle). This could possibly be what Jarred is talking about with "functional standby"

With pre record and green color, it is my dream camera for wildlife production...

I will need to make a lot of money quickly with my RED ONE...

I want a Green Epic, I thing will not be able to sleep until I got one, M version...

It looks to me like there are some modules to see in this picture but I'm pretty sure I have no idea. =)
So I wonder if any of the parts in my cart are affected?

John - what makes you think these things? The pic shows same Touchscreen only mounted upside-down. The EVF has a new mount but same EVF. Not sure about a "touchscreen holder" but the module it is mounted on is the +1 Adaptor, due in February. Side SSD Module?

Can I get one fitted with kevlar and a electric shock sensor for un-authorized hands!!! lol I love the OD GREEN!! how about desert camo?? heheh
