Any rumors/thoughts/concrete advice on when Build 20 will hit SDK?

Im shooting using it, but I edit, Color correct, and output using entirely proxies and skipping Red Alert altogether. Build 20 looks great in cam and in RA, but the proxies look nothing like what you have in cam and in RA. I go into RA and generally boost the color temp into the 5600 mark and set the tint to zero - at this point the files look insane in RA but it makes the proxies look acceptable. Should I just be shooting with build 17 until the SDK is sorted? What are you non Red Alert folk doing? I dont want to miss the noise benefits inherent in shooting build 20 - but adjusting the proxies blindly in RA is a pain in the a--.

Hope I dont sound like I'm complaining! Build 20 is amazing! The grain is not only minimized, but whats there is really pleasing to my eye, actually. You guys are geniuses, Red.

An SDK with the B20 went out more than a week ago.

whoopsie. How/where do I take advantage/download?

Sorry for being a bumpkiss!

or does that mean that its out to developers, but not yet implemented in the proxies etc? Does quicktime need to release an update before I see the changes?

Out to developers. Alot more work still to be finished to update the proxies.

Andrew,
if you use the very latest version of clipfinder (4) you can toggle the view style below the main window to show you a thumbnail. This can be increased in size to almost the same size as the main viewer. This thumbnail view is a true representation of the color. (the main window is not).
The issue is with quicktime, hence the proxies looking weird and does require an extra step of making new quicktimes.
