Congrats to both of them! The video looks amazing
Chris is a good friend and I was so happy to see that he got this video. Again Bravo!

1. Looked good.. Epic, duh.. Winning**
2. Sounded terrible : Auto-tune makes me want to dig my eyeballs out with rusty spoons.
3. Concept? um, no comment.. What was the unmotivated and totally random milk in the face all about? Was that the only way she'd open his jacket? Gross.
4. I'm sure the young female sheeple of this world will LOOOOVE it.
5. This is a pretty good example that story and content are king...

moving on..

Heh. I loved the bit from Half-Baked with the guy who did it in the movie being the "cool one" though it was out of place along with much of the other stuff. Second thought, I honestly don't know what should be in this video. I guess music videos are just incredibly weird these days.

pretty cool images and cinematography, but the contentment? WTF? oh please... this is 2011, I think 11 old kids needs something more intelligent than this. Where is the evolution?

The video looked great. It's good to see EPICs being used for such diverse projects. All I know is, if EPICs become more common in the music video world, I certainly won't complain.

on 1:12, as Britney walks in front of someone on a phone booth, Colorist had a power window on the dude, and she walks right thru it, colorist didnt care to adjust for her passing by.

I saw this on the first play, so I am sure its not that hard to see, why no care to get THAT done right?

Sorry, lazy window work is a poet peeve of mine....

shame they didn't online with the r3d files directly, maybe epic r3d pipeline wasn't ready when they took it to post, or they just didn't care. most of the time it's the latter. they'd rather work with "easier to handle files" than handle the highest quality source files. either way, it was a nicely shot video, timing was nice on it.

everything else has been said :P

Von, did you end up doing a complicated one light, or did you just leave it flat-ish so they could get the grading done with baked in files with greater easy? and do you know who did the post by any chance?

One thing is sure, she should hire a good hairdresser and another makeup artist ;-)

As for the music, I can't say, I always watch music videos with the sound turned off, it's better and funnier that way. It also works with commercials, you should try ;-)
