  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Britney Spears NEW video "I Wanna Go" Shot on Epic released today

shame they didn't online with the r3d files directly, maybe epic r3d pipeline wasn't ready when they took it to post, or they just didn't care. most of the time it's the latter. they'd rather work with "easier to handle files" than handle the highest quality source files. either way, it was a nicely shot video, timing was nice on it.

everything else has been said :P

Von, did you end up doing a complicated one light, or did you just leave it flat-ish so they could get the grading done with baked in files with greater easy? and do you know who did the post by any chance?

This video was shot and had to make it through post and released so it would be considered for the VMA's. That's why I rendered everything out on set to 4444. I did a tight 1 light, with a curve that was not to much, just in case they wanted to make any further adjustments. I've got to say that because I know what I'm doing (in regards to transcoding), going back to R3D, would have not yielded any more image quality. I had my Eizo 232W on set, and if you plan to do any serious color correction on set, two things to have a killer calibrated monitor (Eizo 232W), and a good device to calibrate it with, like the Colormunki
