Boston Tragedy

The behaviourists believe(d), and as a Portuguese catholic priest (Padre Américo) was used to say, there are no bad boys, like a certain James Woods' character says facing death penalty, he had been the result of all garbage he had crossed along his life...

I will only tell you an episode. Once I met an illegal emigrant from Bangladesh in Rome subway and with casual conversation after 5 minutes, I could listen his bitter experience of life to be explored with more 50% of regular labor time to be paid 3/4 of local average 'cause he had no papers. Without mention he was blaming Americans (!) for all the evil of the world (so in his words, 'they' deserved anything!) even if he hadn't ever been in the States before. I tried then to offer him a different POV aside the fact he was in Italy and not even in the US, that situation could happen in any part of the world where he could be without family, friends to help him to build up a solution harder to get it if not more integrated into society where there is a system of laws which can prevent distorted perversions to the rule. Yet, a disturbing note, though: the guy had an appearance completely peaceful. I never saw him again but something I fully got that day... a lot of circumstances make the event. That's why the society is ill. And responsibility for all of us, as well. In greater or minor extension, but all of us, we can give our contribution for a safer world.

PS -- When I was student of law, nearby the campus, there was a dog used to bark to any guy with uniform, it could be a policeman, fireman, whoever with uniform... No one around ever seemed to have clue for.

From same kinda of news source(s)... something else in order to try to figure out what was, is and unfortunately did not end with the successful capture under the only way to stop them a posteriori this time; but almost useless to have succeeded earlier than innocent people had fully or partially lost their lives, at least those ones or next ones in the hands of new series of criminals -- ironically the younger brother got US (Western) citizenship 11 years after 9/11, a decade after to have arrived child to the US... who's next? :(

It's extremely sad that this sort of thing happened.

But I can't help but think how funny it is that during the elections all we hear about the candidates it's how America is the best country in the world that is free and prosperous... The thing is, the world is listening and finds these sort of beliefs from American presidents arrogant and even insulting, second we all know it's not true.

Americans need a complete makeover from its politicians and the media. In my view, these two entities are very dangerous to the well being of American citizens.

Lets not forget that these sort of thing happens around the world every day. Children starve to death every day, women are beaten to death every day, etc.

Having said that, my truly and most loving condolences go to the American people.

Peace.
