  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Bomb EVF Shipping

Hi Jarred,

I tried to order two SSDs and a SSD module for my R1MX.

They're backorder, and i can't have a response as when i'd receive them.

Could you give us a time frame ?

Can't think receiving my Epic without SSDs, without any recording ability.

...not a blame at all, just a fair question i think.

I know how I can be appeased for my waiting! Make my Red One eligible for the Epic-X trade in. Even though I missed the Oct 30th date by a few days!

They are not on backorder (ie, we have nothing to ship) - they state on RED.com as "limited availability". Meaning, we are hand-to-mouth shipping as fast as we can.

And remember, we are fulfilling orders of people with outstanding RED-DRIVE and RED-RAM orders since they have been patiently waiting well before we went live with new SSD orders. Jarred was quite up front about that delivery priority in another thread.

Any rough idea of when the old drive orders will be caught up and you think you can start shipping the new SSD's? In the next 30 days? The next 60 days?

Better specify Bomb EVF (since this is its thread) or the 1.8" SSDs in that question.

Let's not hijack the BOMB EVF thread with SSD questions. It all depends on how the people with the old drive orders respond (ie, wanting SSD or not).

I have a BEVF question, will the cool solid "square" EVF mount we've seen on the Epic be available before Epic is widely available?, because I would love to mount the Bomb EVF that solid on the Red One.

Yes ... I am almost 100% certain that Red will do that for you because you had to patiently wait for your Bomb EVF.

I also think they will be sending you a titanium W in honor of your long wait.

Appeasing you is job #1 at Red.

I just ask that you make lots of these. Don't just add up the number of Red Ones and Epics you are making. You are going to need at least twice that many. I plan to put one on my Scarlet and I doubt I will be the only one. Man you guys are going to be busy! A year from now you are going to be looking back on this as the lull before the storm.

Checking our email to see if in there we find that a long lasting pleasure of a FEDEX TRK# requested by RED ;)

Wish we never seen those Precious little things, now we want them so bad we can hardly wait for them ;)

RED's emails have become really Addictive, some times when we don't get them, we fill in Withdraw haha.

Dont worry guys.. The machine is rolling.. Another 50 that are a day away from being completed last night over in Germany. We were lucky to get this many EVF's buttoned in an entire month as of a few weeks ago.
