  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

still good value at the moment, considering EVF's in general are backordered. Lot of people need to shoot NOW, lot of ppl bought r1's and still don't have a evf/lcd that are clamoring for one. And as of now Bomb is priced a little higher than the original EVF, come down on price a bit on the original EVF, still plenty of people very happy with the original evf looking to save some money...
 
The word 'bomb' would not be written on a real bomb... maybe fireworks. Can't wait to see the first person to complain when this actually happens if ever. It will be a dramatic story indeed.

If we could label other parts "timer" "launcher" and "remote", we might have some real fun.

I probably just triggered some internet terrorist filter. Right now my question is, how fast can I get my hands on this bomb?

Do we need to do anything if we already have the old EVF paid for and everything? Will a BEVF just come to my door?
 
is there anyway we can get the dimensions on the bomb evf?

My new case is currently being made and I JUST told them to hold and before they cut the foam for my old evf, I need to get them the new dimensions, so my new toy has a place to live once i get it.

What are the specifications of the new EVF and how does it compare to the current one?
Why is it better? (rez, bit depth, weight?)

I built a similar rig for my Betacam in 1986 using parts from a welding helmet to hold the Sony viewfinder to my eye with a three foot umbilical cable going to the camera. It really frees things up not having to have your head in the same place as the camera. I'm really looking forward to the Bomb EVF...any specs on the weight yet?

Are the lcd's also updating to a newer model and is the reason they are on backorder?

good to hear. it'd be great if we could hear about the different scarlet packages available to see whether or not i'm gonna need to pick one of these up solo. Furthermore i think i'm not alone in saying i have a budget that needs to be spent by the end of the year so i need to find out what is going to be purchased and when.
