  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I can't wait to receive mine! I'm waiting for it for 6 months now... maybe that means I'm part of the family now... but maybe mine isn't in that shipment!
Would be great if our items could be sent from Red UK office.
 
Stop for a moment the EPIC project and resolve production and delivery of the EVF is a fundamental piece to use the cameras and/or doing business.
 
In case you guys missed it.... Jarred already posted about the reason it it taking so long.

That one part that we are still tweaking to get perfect... it is a piece inside the eyecup, and it is purely cosmetic. We have a ton of these things made, so once its good.. they will pour out. I will know on monday as the shipment finally was able to get through the snow.

Wow...it's somewhat difficult to imagine less professional behavior than that.

Red hasn't started shipping Epics or Scarlett yet, so I thing YOU guys are on Santa's naughty list.

That's pretty immature. You started this thread in July and expected to be out of backorder in August.

People have a right to complain if they have no official EVF option.

and this is pretty DUMB. Seriously, please anyone tell me what benefit RED has delaying shipping anything? LOTS out of their control on this and the original EVF> Supplier driven delays. FCC. all legitimate. Plenty of used EVF for sale and many more to rent.

If I were them, I'd take note of these bitchy whiny posters, and put them all in the BACK OF THE LINE... professional or not. These attacks seem personal and far less professional than Jarred attempting to laugh thru what are obviously VERY insulting posts.

Again dear whiners. Please give me one reason why RED would deliberately delay shipping anything? Frustratation is fine, reiterating the same firm grasp of the obvious is OBNOXIOUS.

Yup.. thats how i see it as well. You yell at me and I will yell at you back. Just like friends do.

Anyways.. Just looked at them.. Gonna take another round ( a week ). Did get a few good ones though, will ship those out.
