I am looking for a zoom lens with support and 15mm rods.

It could be Angenieux 25-250mm HP or HR or something comparable. Perhaps one of the RED zooms if anyone has one. Let me know what's out there. I have tried a couple of brokers and the deals keep falling through on their end so I am getting frustrated.

Well it depends on the glass but probably not more than $10,000.

The older Cooke 25-250mm's can usually be had for under $7K sometimes down to $5K. Cheaper than that and they're usually roughed up pretty badly.

The Angenieux Optimo 12X (24-290) is amazing, hard to find one on the used market. You can order them new, but last I checked there was over a 6 month wait to get one. The used ones, if you actually find one, are holding their value quite well -- way over $10K.

any idea on what is a 20-100 cooke in good shape is going for, jeff?

20-100... No more than $7500 I would think. I've seen pretty nice ones in the $5500 range. But I've seen dealers asking $8K or more for them, especially a few months ago when the interest in used glass seemed to peak.

The newer 18-100 goes for anywhere from about $10K to $18K depending on age and condition. They seem to be worth more lately as they're harder to find.
