Anyway, Norbert.. I was just curious if they would help you out on the shipping if you called them. Sometimes the web site is not very forgiving. I tend to call them anyway when I order stuff because I can often get better pricing on filters and things if I talk to someone.


Anyway, in an attempt to keep this thread on track... My BOMB EVF is at RED right now getting the OLED upgrade.

My upgraded EVF arrived yesterday. I have not had time to look at it yet since my M is off getting upgraded.

Still no word on my EVF yet. It has already been there for 5 or 6 days...

hopefully I get the shipping notice tomorrow.

it has upgraded to OLED and came back a few days ago, is the best EVF that I have ever tried.
I do prefer the optical viewfinder, but I can't complain, this is the best so far.

You should be getting close... Mine has been there for nearly 5 weeks and they shipped it back to me today.

Just got my EVF back from upgrade (took 2 months!). Looks 100 times better than the old one. Finally I can pack my LCD back in my bag. I hate shooting with monitors, I can't understand how people can frame anyting at all when looking at monitors. When I put my eye to that viewfinder, it feels like looking into a dark cinema. Gets me in the mood for shooting!

I sure hope playback will get enabled with the EVF asap... sure is annoying having to switch over to the LCD to play back one or two clips.

Has this been addressed now?
