Bomb EVF manual and flicker

The arrival of my side handle has allowed me to test the evf a little more thoroughly this week.

Mine is fairly new - arrived late February and is displaying the stuttering and rainbow effects others have described. I'll be logging a support ticket soon as I find it very distracting, gentle pans 'stutter' significantly, making it uncomfortable when capturing any kind of movement.
 
I know this is an old thread but our BOMB EVF on a RED ONE MX just started going into this strobe like mode.

After reading the posts in this thread I still cant find anything on "heater" and "open gate".
