  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Stumbled across original script copy at 'last book store' the other day and wonder if they will open up the alternate ending and dekard is a replicant variations
why not 70mm film? or Panavision / Weapon VistaVision?
Anyway, hope it lives up to the expectations

funny how many are using the Leica's now, I'm sure that can be traced back to gone girl. I really cant remember seeing them in much use before that film
 
I have seen trailers for both Rogue One and BR2049. Both look great. I don't like some aspects of anamorphic lenses, such as the apologising for unacceptable aberrations like distortion and edge softness. I wrote a post entitled 'Contra Anamorphic' and I have to say that I changed my mind, at least in theory. But that is for another time.

The photography in Rogue One is superb, IMHO. I don't like the fact that the blind old man from Kung-Fu is in that film, though. I think Hollywood people need to be more like George Costanza: do the opposite. Still, Felicity Jones is incredibly pretty.

Alexa XT and 4K finish, okay. Makes rather more sense in open gate + ana scenario, but Roger knows best. At least it's not gonna be 2K release again, which is good news.

Sorry, I meant full 4:3 sensor. Open Gate is indeed wider.
