  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Black Keys - "Howlin for You" shot MX & Anamorphic

Did you get a professional voice over guy to do the voice over? If not whoever it was did a good job impersonating Don Lafontaine and the other guys who do the movie voice.
 
Those chicks are smoking hot just like the anamorphic flares! Good work. Very well shot
 
Damn, that was awesome. I LOVE the ToddAO glass. The flare characteristics are the coolest I've ever seen. Was this a short trailer as a pitch?
 
This was shot as a Music Video for the band "The Black Keys" - The idea was for it to essentially be a fake trailer and for people to think that it was actually a real movie coming out (we teamed up with IMDB for the joke and they premiered it on their homepage!)

I'm pretty sure we did get a professional to do the VO...

Yes, the ToddAO glass is the best!
 
Too bad there is no Todd-AO anamorphics lens to own.
 
Its funny this is the first time im hearing of these lenses, I can't find much info or photos of them anywhere, could you happen to point me in the right direction? I've seen the flair tests and such but not much else on the physical lenses. Are they large?

And most importantly to me, do they come in a 1.33 anamorphic flavor by any chance as well? ( i may just be dreaming now )

I like the way you introduce the musicians, Las Teclas de Negro ha ha ha.
A nice tribute to Tarantino though.
