Well looking at the images on the website, I'd think an imaginary one would just be around 1/3 the weight of the real thing.

Hi Guys,

I have received confirmation from electronic boards producer. We have received our place in production for our electronics but it will take a bit longer as they are finishing a major order for other company. We should receive our boards at 14-21 August.....

So Piotr, did you receive these new boards yet? The 21st is this Friday - tomorrow as I type this. Want to know roughly when we can start sending our BS4s in for conversion.

Tomorrow marks the 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the opening of the BeSteady FOUR group buy.

I'll be celebrating by reminding myself to never get involved with another start-up company for the rest of my life.

The realization that 2 years have passed, without us getting what was promised to us, sickens me beyond words.

Carey, it was a gamble from the start and we are all in it with you.
Maybe the damage is already done, even if the gimbal is delivered and up to standard, i don't think ACR will get back from such a PR nightmare
and that mean they'll have trouble keeping investing in future products/infrastructure (the grip kickstarter fail is a sign).
in the end we'll have trouble getting service, software updates and parts from an struggling company and the bad reputation mean trouble selling the gimbal too.

imho the best attitude is accepting we lost this one and maybe have a nice surprise..

Hello Guys,

we finally received confirmation about delivery of new main boards. Adding to it the time needed to put them into units and time required to make full quality control we will resume shipment of units during first week of October and we are planning shipping of all remaining units in that month.

From Monday, please contact us at support@acr-sys.com to arrange details of upgrades of your units to V2 version. We need those information to arrange it in convenient time. Please provide us with information when you will be able to ship your units, when they should be returned and unit serial number. We will need approximately about 5 days to complete upgrades but we will be unable to perform them all at once.

...we are preparing for building large batch of units so we will be able to ship them when we will receive electronics.

Are the boards delayed? Or is it going to take over a month to put them into the units make do the "full quality control".

Will all accessories from the group buy be included when they ship out? Have a nice weekend.

Shooting right now with the BS4. For all you out there still waiting, it´s a great product after all.
Rig is loaded with Epic, Cooke S4 lens, teradek Bolt, Cmontion Follow Focus, LMB-5 Mattebox and a Cine Tape Measure.
Rig holds all that stuff with ease, motor setting is at 35%. I can't post any film snipped, but everyone is very impressed with this Rig.

I have my second, brand new, so called "Beast" sitting in my closet, and neither one has ever worked properly. I had to pay shipping and duties, twice, for two units that do not work. Many people never even received their units.

These "timelines" mean nothing, as has been proven over and over again. Your post does nothing instill confidence in any of us.

I beg BeSteady to refund us all our money so that we can end this nightmare. They could take out a loan and make things right.

Personally, I can never respect them or their product. They have burnt too many good people.

When a company takes a bunch of money from initial investors, and then says they are broke and have to sell the product we paid for to new "investors" to keep new money flowing in... They have a name for that, and it's not good.

I want this nightmare ended.

Those kinda belong on kickstarter.

its not fair to include all start up companies putting them in the same situation because one company failed at least for a long time to deliver.
Kickstarter and indiegogo has brought up some great projects in the past, and though its always a risk, its also a tool for evolution and progress.
Sometimes shit happens I know, but if no one was encouraging and investing in start ups , there would be no evolution and many great projects would never had seen the light and brought to life.
