Hello guys,

I am sure that it has been posted all over the red-user what I am about to ask but, having two kids specially a newborn makes my time limited, what i want to ask is how to get most out of my red scarlet

here is my current workflow but i always think that its missing something its never like some of posts that i see out there nice and crisp.

1. black shade to current exposure
2. i always wait camera to warm up to its temp
3.after a shoot i color correct in davinci then export to PP cc via 4khud proress 4444 I'm sure this is wrong
4.then i edit my timeline and link it to after effects for any visual effects
5.then how should i export to Vimeo or youtube for best results. can someone kind enough to enlighten me

John,

Don't forget audio and timecode.

how do you export out? or what is your workflow?

Its better to edit first in premiere and as a last stepngo to davincii.

still doesnt give me any information on how?

i do the same, kinda.
do a 1st light in redcine then export as 2k 444
do some additional grading in resolve if need be
then dump it all into fcp x, sync audio within the events manager, and cut away
then export as 1080 or dvd or whatever i need

well, whatever works...

but arguably there are better options for maximum quality/flexibility
