Best Thunderbolt SSD Dock for editing Dragon 6k footage?

How well can you edit 6k footage on your maxed out MBP + Lacie Little Big Disk combo?

I usually go for 1/4 res on the MBP and 1/2 res on the iMac. Maybe it's possible to push it but those resolutions works for me in PP CC.

Does anyone have experience using the Promise Technology 2TB Pegasus2 M4 Thunderbolt 2 RAID Storage Array (SSD)?:

I use one of these. I bought the original one that has 4x1tb hd drives, I swapped out to 4x 2tb ssds. 8tb storage. These ssds are available for 669 from newegg and the m4 is 1206. 3800 or so. I also have the La Cie little big disk, together about 5000 but if you want fast and light with 13tb total storage you can't beat it. Great for traveling. The Promise is quiet and has internal power supply.

Not SSD but I use the Lacie 5Big 20TB Thunderbolt2 in a RAID6 config, does fine with RED 6K

On the road I use Samsung 1tb SSB USB 3.0 on a Macbook Pro, I use 1/4 playback no worries. Not as big as I'd like but it suits my current work
