  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Best sub £500 wireless transmitter

I have both the older Aries Pro and the newer remodeled Aries Pro that just arrived yesterday. The older model served me fairly well, but signal was only "decently" strong. I would usually only get 55-80% of the 100ft described... Though, I never needed it for more than being cableless.

Will be doing a shootout of the two this week to see if the newer "100ft range" Pro model has any sort of better response than the former. Will probably pop my older model really cheap on RU as well, assuming the new one is better. One of these days I'll grab an industrial model...

Actually, I still don't understand why no one has built a Miracast-powered transmitter that can shoot video over a wireless network, and be pulled from laptops / TVs / tablets.

So i got the CW1 IDX - now just trying to think of the best way to power it, don't want cables everywhere any suggestions? I guess there are three options power from another battery , power from dtap of ronin (when using the ronin) or power from the 2 pin loemo aux supplies - anyone know where to get rewired cable or cable suggest how to mount it? hdmi splitter? velcro etc....
