Best Practice for mixing 4.5K, 5K and delivering in 4K FCPX

Question as I have only mixed 2 resolutions but always edited in the resolution I was delivering.

What is the best practice to mix 4.5K (rave) 5K (scarlet) footage and deliver in 4K?

Create time line of finished resolution and deliver in that? Sorry for the elementary question, mediazilla is the delivery format

just stick your clips into a 4k timeline.

If your doing edit & color in FCPX, be sure to check out ColorFinale. Excellent if your not using a color house. Grade base layer in ColorFinale, then use color selection tool in FCPX to isolate skin tone. Quick and simple...

You'll find Color Finale very, very limited compared to Resolve.
