Hi Vithya,
I recommend the red monitor.
I have a SMALL HD DP1X of 9 " and I prefer the RED lcd of 5.6" because it connects only with 1 cable to the camera and it have a solid connection. The cables HDMI are disconnected easily. For me is hard to explain but on the RED monitor the image is more like what is being recorded. I have not tried yet a SDI monitor.

Does It have to be LCD? Take a look at the Sony PVM-740 (I believe it is now the 741). By far the best field monitor I ever had.
OLED is the future. A quick side note here, I do have the 5 inch touch screen and I do love it dearly but for focus work and exposure
check I go to the Sony.

In terms of resolution the Sony falls between the Red 5 inch and 9 Inch. What I love about the Sony (and other OLED displays) is the blacks. Deep pure gorgeous blacks. None of that muddy milky blacks you see on other types of displays.

So many monitors you mentioned that I haven't even heard of. I'd better update my library to stay in this business :-)

Whatis your purpose with the feild monitor? If you're just looking for one to judge your framing, just get anything that fits your budget. However, you shouldn't expect to be able to judge your exposure with on board monitors such as Red LCD. Have another bigger monitor that can deliver required specs for your delivery format. Often, on board monitors are so bright that they mis-guide you for judging your exposure. Not that there's anything wrong with the makers of those monitors since those monitors are meant to cover wide shooting conditions including bright daylight.

just upgraded from RED 5.6 to RED 7.0 (non-touch, RED One M) and it's waaay better now -> much better to nail focus and very nice especially at studio shoots where you have time for "proper/calm" working... I'd always suggest a proper Studio-Monitor at such shoots (SDI 17 inch upwards) but with the 7.0 it's really nice to work compared with the 5.6 now!
