  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

BEST DSLR VIDEO IVE SEEN YET!!!!!

Once again we are on a highly advanced digital camera acquisition site, to act like that does not matter to you makes no sense. Yes DSLR's can produce a decent image and the quality of image depends on your skills, and that the most important aspect of visual media is how it's told and what you are telling rather than what it is shot on. But we are here assuming you know all of that, we are here to talk about high end camera's not to argue weather people deserve them or not, that's not for us to say.

I just though it was funny that the poster who responded to me stated that Scarlet will solve the problems (the ones from the Canon-rant video) because of "proper" features. As if the reason people are producing poor products with DSLRs is because they don't have a "proper" controls. It's funny to me that people still think that "proper" ergonomics and such actually make an impact. All they do is make it easier and more comfortable. They have absolutely no impact on the framing or look of the final product.

People use to have legitimate excuses for products not creating a professional looking image... like interlaced video, 1/4" sensors, 5 stops of DR, ect... Now that there is affordable HD 35mm solutions available for all budgets, all we hear is "this handle is not professional enough"... like it matters or something... :rolleyes5:

All that matters is if you have achieved a professional look and feel in the end.
